tips for teaching

Working at muse has taught me that people, even college aged, don't listen.  I think maybe it's just laziness.  But in a lot of cases, grammar is just not being taught correctly.  It's sort of disturbing when you think about it, most of the staff writers who make such glaring grammatical errors have no idea that they're making them in the first place.  Not only does this reflect poorly on the education system, but it sure makes my life difficult when time that could be spent designing pages and fitting text in has to be spent correcting it.
